Biography

Hi I'm Abrie de Koning. I'm a photographer based in Cape Town, South Africa.

After graduating high school, I attended the prestigious School of MAD at Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth to begin my studies in NDip Photography.

​

I graduated in 2015 and decided to move to Cape Town to start my career in the bustling fashion photography industry. I secured a job at Zando, Africa’s largest fashion e-comm company as a photographer and have worked my way up to become the E-Commerce Studio Manager.

 

Along with working at Zando, I also freelance and have built up a good client base with the likes of Birkenstock, Under Armour, Wellness Warehouse, RVCA, and many more.

I also love capturing moments in time with weddings, engagements, and family portraits. It's one of those things I never thought I would like but I have fallen in love with the beauty of everlasting moments.
